Application Process for Foreign-Trained Applicants

The process flowchart provides an overview of the process from start to finish and the following outlines the expected timelines for each step of this process. The significant variable in the whole process is language acquisition if required.

The timelines for each portion of the project are as follows:

Meet advisor – within 7 days of receipt of application
Assessment – within 4 weeks of all documentation received
Interview – within 4 weeks after receipt of the assessment report
The decision of Evaluation Committee – within 4 weeks after receipt of the interview report

These timelines may slip if the applicant is unavailable for the interview within the stated timelines in which case the timeline will move in accordance.
