

The Canadian Council of Land Surveyors (CCLS) has prepared a Guide to Becoming a Professional Surveyor in Canada This document is presently being updated to reflect the new syllabus and once done will be housed on the CBEPS Web site. Please do not refer to that document for syllabus information.
The new CBEPS Syllabus of subjects is now in effect. All core syllabus items and a minimum of two elective syllabus items are required to obtain the Certificate of Completion. Some jurisdictions may have specific requirements for electives (for example the Association of Canada Lands Surveyors requires candidates have taken E2). All individuals should contact the association with which they intend to pursue licensure for current details. See following for Learning Outcomes and Study Guides for each of the 15 subjects:
